TERMS AND CONDITIONS - HOLIDAY LETTING

The terms and conditions of the holiday letting as agreed to by both parties are as follows and departure from same by you permits the owner or agent to refuse the key, amend the charge or immediately terminate the occupancy.

1.  The premises are available from 2.00 pm on the day of arrival and are to be vacated by 9.30   am on the day of departure unless if leaving on a Sunday for which the vacate time is 1.00 pm. These are the departure times unless otherwise organised. Please return keys to the agent's ffice when leaving.

2.  All bookings incur a non-refundable booking fee of $20.00 in addition to the tariff.

3. Deposit is 50% of Tariff.

4. Final payment to be paid as per confirmation letter.

5.  In the event of a cancelled booking by you, the deposit is not refundable unless the premises are rebooked for the entire period in which case a cancellation fee of 20% of the total amount will be charged. Minimum fee $50.00.

6.  The booking is made in good faith by the agent, but may be subject to any change as may be notified by the owner prior to the commencement of the booking. The agent cannot accept responsibility for actions taken by the owner of the premises outside of his control. (Every reasonable endeavour will be made to offer alternative accommodation should this occur.)

7.  The number of occupants must not exceed the number of beds. The occupants must provide all bed, bathroom and table linen.

8.  Pets are NOT permitted on the premises.

9.  All breakages, damage and lost keys are to be reported to the agent and paid for immediately if deemed necessary.

10.  A call out fee of $50.00 may apply for after hours attendance. 

11.  No responsibility is taken for occupants personal property left on the premises.

12.  With telephone or postal bookings, the description of the premises by the agent is make in good faith, but no responsibility for misdescritpion can be accepted.

13.  No person on the premises shall be guilty of conduct that is a nuisance to adjoining or neighbouring occupiers. In home units Strata Title by - laws and regulations must be observed for example, no washing or towels to be hung over balconies at any time. Any breach of this condition may result in immediate cancellation of the Holiday Letting and the pre-paid tariff being forfeited.

14.  General cleaning is performed after your tenancy. However it is the responsibility of the tenant to perform the cleaning of all crockery, cutlery, pots and pans and BBQ prior to vacating. Failure to do so may result in an extra charge for such cleaning.

15.  The disposal of all rubbish and garbage generated from your stay is your responsibility. The bins provided (Red-general rubbish, Yellow-recycling, Green-garden waste not to be used ) should not be filled past reasonable capacity and only placed in appropriately designated bins. Excess rubbish can either be disposed on a regular basis when you go to town or taken upon your departure. Removal of any excess rubbish will be charged to you, the occupant, accordingly.
